Continuous coating heating tunnel

 SAT Thermique supplied for one of its loyal customers, a French manufacturer of fasteners and systems for the building envelope, a continuous coating heating tunnel.

In the entrance airlock, the parts, positioned on trays, are heated by 4 infrared radiant heaters, controlled by a presence detection cell in order to optimize energy consumption.

In the oven, firing takes place between 150 and 210°C depending on the series, thanks to a natural gas burner with combustion gas recycling.

Finally, on the way out of the tunnel, the trays are air-cooled to ambient.
In order to meet the requirements of the process, a fine adjustment was made to ensure the surface homogeneity of the air, throughout the crossing of the tunnel.

The SAT experts studied and carried out this project with the constant concern of combining performance and controlled consumption.
